Yeah that extra wire is to provide 12 volts to screen. So all I did was wire to an ignition on fuse.

So those are the main parts. I'm sure you can possibly find cheaper elsewhere on some parts. However the main thing you need is the dash. Not sure how much Ford has them listed for. I'm been wanting to get a spare 8" dash and see if it's possible to modify it to fit 12" and still look stock.

Unfortunately I did not take the acm off of the badlands. Only the apim.

Yeah, being that the apim from badlands was a b& o it had completely different digits. Never knew because when I did the swap. I didn't use forscan, wasn't til after. So I downloaded my as built using my vin., replaced digits And now it's working perfectly.

You're probably correct. Because my apim was from a b&o badlands bronco.

The settings I changed back to from are as follows: Old A081 0802 FC00 NEW(ORIGINAL) 2001 0802 8084

So after so much research I tried changing just one digit on the 7D0-01-01 but that didn't work. So I decided to just change it to my as built setting for my 8" big bend and sure enough it worked.

I have nav/gps installed works great. However if you curently don't have it on the 8" I'm sure one of the ports allows for a gps antenna.

Appreciate you taking the time to share that info. When you have a chance can you confirm what you ended up under the 7d0-01-01. Because Schwaggle settings start with 0 and yours with a 2. Just want to be sure before I reset those settings.

Yes Schwaggle(my inspiration)and I communicated some time back. I followed all his steps to make this conversion happen. And he passed this information to me as well however I wasn't too comfortable changing those numbers in my apim/acm Because this was based off a ecosport thread from many...

I understand just searching for help, thanks for input. However I do believe if you shop around I'm sure it can be done for a reasonable price. If you ever decide to take the plunge I'm here to help.
