Well, I installed the new parts and new harness, and it is all working perfectly -- but as expected, I looked for codes with forscan, and I do see the BCMC code.

I am in the process of working on getting it programmed. I installed these without a programmer, I skipped those steps...
Technically you don't 'need' to do any reprogramming for these switches to work ... or so I have read/been told/seen in videos.
Right? what's the downside of not reprogramming?
whats the part number of the failed driveshaft? I have a 2023 outer banks with 2.7l I have only had for a couple weeks, and mine is making the exact same noises as the videos posted in the beginning of this thread. It started around 400-500 mile mark, and currently has about 1000 miles on it...
I received the harness, fuse box, and switches today for my upgrade. I don't want to go the use and return route. Any chance someone in DFW area has one I can use/borrow?
I purchased a new 2023 outer banks bronco last weekend. I am confused on the prices between the years.
For MY2024 the base price is $47,940 (my base price was $49,530) , and the cost of the LUX package is $2,930 (my sticker shows this cost $3945)...
I am curious why Ford would lower the cost...
