From what I’ve seen you’ll typically need to get some sort of hardware to mount it on. For me, that is a TrailRax with the PaxRax on the side. TrailRax sells a plate specific to the MaxTrax that I think can just be used on any roof rack.
I’ve seen others mount them inside on cargo shelf molle...
I’ve been running XPEL Stealth PPF since I got the Bronco. I’ve taken it offroad a few times with no visible wear. I do have a few permanent marks on the film exactly where you mention you have the chips, on the lower rockers. To me though, this is the point of the film and those would’ve for...
I'll definitely make sure I spend some time checking out the FiveSix, and am for sure looking at the PSI Pro version just from a quality of life standpoint. Appreciate you sharing, and that is a sweet photo you caught there.
This makes sense, I'm also reading this while on Zoom meetings for work so I may have just lost some things in between conversations there.
The compressor thing is very interesting. Tyler mentioned that he worked with the manufacturer to make some improvements and then they got sold out from...
Ah, I didn't realize that was inclusive of the compressor. That is indeed quite a bit cheaper.
Regarding the MORRflate manufacturing, Tyler has been pretty open about his initial journey to private label a generic compressor and then iterate upon the design. Personally, I don't believe that...
If you’re not looking to do this yourself, I imagine the cost of a MORRflate hose kit isn’t that much more than this list plus tax. The owner has done some AMA and podcasts that were super informative and assured me he knows what he’s doing before I purchased. He also speaks to things like why...
Are you running aftermarket valves? If not, any compressor over 2-2.5 CFM will bottleneck at the valve stem and create back pressure that burns out your compressor over time. That’s why compressors like MORRflate’s TenSix state that they are only for use with a four tire hose kit, as splitting...
Highly recommend checking out BroFlaps on Etsy. They are the cleanest mudflap available and look OEM without any of the over-the-top branding. Install is easy and all hardware is provided, the owner even includes videos of them completing the install on their Bronco and explaining the different...
Awesome Everglades!! We recently moved to the Catskills / Hudson Valley from WI and haven't seen another Everglades in NY yet. Pic below was in Catskill on the Hudson River. Welcome aboard.
I believe the general consensus is that unless you are really going to trick this thing out with some wild aftermarket suspension and wheels, it is preferable to get the sasquatch package from the factory. The parts are all under warranty, the CV angles are in check, you get the upgraded...
Rustproof it. Sure some people are fine without it, but on a $50-70k vehicle what's another thousand to ensure its protected. Like some above, I did NH Oil's undercoating with fluid film on the moving parts. It's just good piece of mind that if I take care of the rest of the Bronco, I won't lose...
Would also recommend picking one up now if a true Everglades is really what you want. Alternatively, IAG recently came out with a snorkel and you can put on your own bash plates and whatnot, but it wont be OEM.
Ideally too the money you would save for that new 26 would come back to you in the...
I drove mine home from the dealership and immediately installed mudflaps to prevent chips on the lower rockers. Outside of that just don't drive behind dump trucks or other Broncos, and park in the back of lots across two spaces until you get it wrapped. That's what I did, anyway.
