Im not trying to defend them by any chance but I see one case of rear sagging on a Raptor, another on a non raptor, however I ordered the 1 inch front and rear lift to maintain factory rake, lets see if I get any sagging or squeaky noises like others report and I will report back.
I just saw one person talking about a rear sag which im not too surprized with since the truck doesnt need any front leveling like the pickup trucks do. So no wonder raising the front more than the rear would give it a squatted look.
Any idea if these springs are linear or progressive like the factory ones? At least i recall the factory rears being progressive not sure about the front.
Reviving this, I have the same problem BUT, how do I even know if its a driveshaft problem before spending money on a new one.
Im thinking it could also be some play in one of the mounts or maybe some diff or transfer case backlash.
They did grease the slip joint at the service center but the issue remains, which is why im thinking of a "better" aftermarket driveshaft, one that (fingers crossed) wouldnt do this.
Thanks guys, not sure why it says im in Qatar since im based in Dubai. The vehicle is under warrantee but I cant for the life of me get to replicate the big clunks when a service manager is taking a spin with me. So you cant under warrantee fix what aint "broke".
Also youre correct about it...
Hey guys,
Been experiencing the dreaded driveshaft clunk after releasing the brake from a stop. The problem is the issue doesnt happen when I try to demonstrate it to the service center and its back as soon as Im driving alone which sucks!
I know its not a safety issue but its extremely...
Reviving this thread back from the dead since I was looking for some stock spring rate numbers and noticed some errors.
Im surprised that you forgot to incorporate front motion ratio when estimating front spring rate by means of spring deflection.
Also the correct formula for wheel rate =...
Okay guys, has anyone figured out how to show the forward tire tracks path when using the front camera with the vehicle in Normal mode? Please dont suggest Baja or rock crawl mode, neither are a good alternative.
Thanks for the first useful reply in the thread! Aside from fitting on the 8.5" wheel, any idea if it will rub on the suspension components, that is my main concern.
I will find out eventually *yikes*
Hopefully not a dumb question but why do you want aftermarket upper arms, for durability purposes? Asking since im pretty sure they provide no performance benefit over stock.
First post here!
Id like to know if anyone has tried fitting a 37x13.5 tire onto the factory wheels. Im sure the 13.5 tire would be more suited to fit a 9 inch wheel, but just a hypothetical question here.
What I am trying to do is fit a wider tire while having the tire sit right at the...
