Update to my earlier reply. Bestop just contacted me as I also posted my story on their Facebook page and included part details/model number etc. there. They said they will now be sending me the part necessary. I’m glad they made it right in the end.
As mentioned above, similar problems with the middle bow of the Bestop. Bought brand new from Ford dealership. The plastic piece in the bow that the bow bracket slides into was cracked. Horrible metal on metal sound/flapping in the wind. Called Bestop. They said they will not send me a new...
Thank you Bad Bronco. I actually ordered this already as someone earlier in the thread also posted the same suggestion. I’ll update with photos once the project is complete.(y)
I went with 17x9 with a -12 offset and now have a gap/lost lower support from the rubber bump stop to the tire. Anyone have any suggestions where to find an extended bump stop replacement? I am only finding replacement parts for Jeeps. I attached a photo showing the issue I’m having. Thanks!
I just hit 3000 miles and have 16.7 average on Wildtrak/Sas. I had to train myself to ease up on the pedal, the low gears actually get you going pretty easily. I also use cruise control when I can. It made a big difference.
I went with 17x9 and -12 offset with stock Wildtrak Sasquatch suspension and stock 315/70/17 Goodyears. Zero rubbing. The half inch wider wheel and the -12mm offset widened out the stance and improved the handling on the road. I went with Fuel Rebels. Hope this info helps!
Missy, I find the stock suspension on my Wildtrak/Sasquatch amazing for how I off road (no gnarly rock crawling). So for me it made sense just to widen the stance a bit - and I have no rubbing/cutting issues. If you search “wheel offset”, there is good info out there on how it works. Good luck!
Replaced stock wheels with Fuel Rebel 17x9 and -12 offset on stock 2023 Wildtrak/Squatch suspension and stock 315/70/17 tires. The half inch wider rim + the -12mm offset gave it a wider stance, and in my opinion, it is more stable on the road. No rubbing and no cutting. Just sharing as I...
Anyone know what the going price is for selling factory black Wildtrak Sasquatch wheels? I have a set of 5 with only about 2400 miles on them that I’m looking to sell. Thanks!
If so, how is the ride on the freeway at higher speeds? Vibrations? Does your Bronco pull around side to side in freeway ruts worse than stock set up?
Thanks!
I actually meant to say 2” collar in front 1” in back. Sounds like 37s may be too big to fit - Is anyone running this lift with true 35x12.5’s on factory black Sasquatch wheels? Maybe the 35’s would clear on this?
Anyone put a 1 inch collar on front and 2 inch in rear? If so, how did it work out? Looking to possibly do this and put 37x12.5’s on stock black Wildtrak wheels.
