I have my name on a HEL and because of the strike, discontinue, reallocate etc....
I got the grille and stuff for my badlands. Maybe when the dealer allocation actually shows up, I'll trade.
So for now, I have 3 "fake", "knock off", "not a real one" vehicles. My Cobra, My 1800's Sprinkler...
I wound up doing a poor paint job on the camera cover because I wanted it put back together the same morning, and since the grille paint came out so good, I ordered a new camera cover to have it painted with paint that has hardener and I'll swap it out in the future.
To me the grill change made...
Lets not forget all the people that ordered one and never took delivery. Be it they got tired of waiting, could not afford it when it got here or ordered two and took the first one.
And order filled and no place to go.
Nice fit especially with the drawer set up.
The large will work with our two German Shepherds . I just like the extra stand up room for them in the XL, so they can balance better when we wheel.
Those crates from RuffLand are awesome. they have those hold down holes built in, and the ease of...
My XL Ruffland crate fits and I can carry gear. I am in the process of having a custom two dog crate made that fits my 2 door and I can carry the gear I need.
this little guy is 76lbs and he has a few more lbs to go.
That is just the mockup. I made it to check fitment and how to carry gear. I had to make come changes because of the door strikers and I wanted it to have escape hatches at its rear if for any reason I could not open the back.
The actual crate will be 16 gauge aluminum and it will use the...
I have been going thorough this kennel thing since I bought my 2 door.
I use XL Ruffland Kennels. Two in the rear of my Expedition and One in the back seat of my Super Duty.
I was able to fold down the rear seats, add a 4-3/4 support to the rear floor and secure one Ruffland XL.
Problem...
sure wish I had seen this before. Just bought a heritage grill for my badlands. I painted my badlands white and I just didn't like it. For me the badlands grill was not my favorite.
Well, you know what the old ones are like with that list of vehicles for sure. Your drive them down the road, you don't ride in them. As some would say, you participate in the general direction of travell.
To have the Fj drive down the road like that has got to be a joy. I guess when an older...
If I recall it weighs in around 2400. It is an easy tow. originally all you have to do is put the transfer case in neutral and off you go. Then I added rear floating hubs to my Dana 44 and if you look you can see locking hubs in the rear. This way it easily free wheels.
5:38 axle ratio and a...
I don't think anyone has a hard top for it. I have a soft top. I have a warn all range overdrive in it. It was one of the last ones made.
it had its last frame off done around 2007.
The Willy's is a 283 chevy. Back in the day when I did the swap a V6 cost more than a V8 at $100. Still carbureted and still has points and condenser. The tranny is a Saginaw 3 speed. Still has the original transfer case but also an overdrive. Lockers, full floating axles.
I think I read every post you did on your swap and I truly appreciate it. You have made this little project easy and because of the little things like defectors for the air, that you mentioned, I decided to go OEM as opposed to some of the aftermarket ones that have the look.
I guess you will...
Thanks. I have all the parts he listed and today I got the grill ordered. As far as the parts guy checked, they are the same grill. I say because we looked it up for a heritage limited and it was the same part number broncorik had.
Now I am wondering where or how I can get the FORD letters in...
