Been a silent reader/follower for some time and I get excited each time you post new fab stuff. Makes me want to keep changing and adding to my bolt on Wicked 3.5" kit. The rear shock mounting on the trailing arm is the cherry on top. Keep setting the pace for the rest of usđź‘‘
Most recently swapped the OEM hardtop for @Turn Offroad top and added @Baja Designs LP9s to front bumper bar with an OEM raptor grille painted gloss black
My current ride height it Sasquatch suspension with 2” perch collars which is usually the same height as an out of the box king set. (Comparing my old 37s and old fenders to other people’s photos with their kings) and now I have 40s and higher clearance fenders so that’s why the wheel gap...
Lurking at this thread I'd like to chime in, this is my build and I have the 3.5" Wicked creations kit not installed yet and i have custom anodized kings on order with Accutune as we speak, only thing i need to figure out is my spring rates to be decided and ordered from Eibach when the...
I agree about hating the fueling upside down haha. and the pretty penny to get the work done, that's why i moved on to other things because it's just so much at this time
Before the body kit I cut it which was the aluminum fender and partially body metal. Then the fender is removed and i installed new and can still see the metal body behind where one of the old mounting bolts went. Then I cut that so it wasn’t showing awkwardly. Sorry I have some photos from both...
Initially i had to take off the stock running boards because they rubbed at full turn and eventually I cut the bottom of the stock fender because it’s only aluminum and it allowed me full lock turning without any issue. This has helped a few people I’ve told. Once the flare went back on it’s...
Well I haven't reached out to any companies yet until I finish paying for paint work but i was hoping I could work with either RPG, Camburg with their new release or Baja kits. Whoever wants to sponsor or even partial I'll be glad :)
Finally got the kit where it needed to be after two weeks at a bodyshop. Also got the RTR tire delete because there's something about it that makes this kit look so much better, and bigger tire sizes down the road will hinder me from having one anyway. To be completely transparent, I was quoted...
I was the first to have the Funhaver offroad fender liners. They are fiberglass and came gloss black. I paid a very good penny for them and they aren't the same ones any of the pre production kit broncos had so i dont think the team really fit these after they were molded. It took me a three day...
I’m on Sasquatch suspension with RPG 2.25” perch collars. 37/13.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with KMC technic wheels 17x8.5” +0 offset. Added 2” wheel spacers all around from broncbuster. So technically I’m at -50mm offset with the spacers.
Next up was the fronts which was my own personal choice to later fit 40-42" tires and long travel. About 2" off. Loren Healy did this to his fronts as well to fit his large tires. Photos of the before and after to show examples. Finished it off by cutting more sheet metal and painting anything...
Behind the scenes on the most intimidating part, clearance for tires/whats required to make this kit complete. Cutting the body and using sealant and Rustoleum reform and seal coating for rust proofing rough edges. I've never done anything like this before but it's very rewarding to try...
Raw install for the rear showing what i mean about the stock lip and fiberglass lip that has to get cut. Gaps in the door moldings that have to later get worked out at your shop. Also showing the sheet metal that has to be cut or will look wack. Luckily i Did a lot of this myself because i'm so...
