  1. SAS ride quality on interstate highways?

I drove 1500 miles in 3 days going from Michigan to Florida last fall in my Wildtrak and loved the ride on the interstates compared to my two Wranglers. I'll be heading back to Michigan soon and have no qualms about the trip and the ride quality. It helps that I have a hardtop and my Wranglers...
  2. 2024 Ford Bronco Review: Yes, it's awesome, but ... Autoblog

^^ Exactly my experience. A little wind noise coming from upper passenger top starting around 75 mph, but very tolerable and easy to carry on a conversation. Now my 2-dr soft-top Rubicon? Totally different story.
  3. Valentine's Day

My dear sweet wife knows what I like. Her Valentine's Day gift tops the flowers I bought her.
  4. Android Auto 11 beta released

AA works perfect in my BMW and my wife's Audi, but it's hot garbage in the Bronco. Freezing screen, unexplained switching between Ford Sync and AA, unexplained switching between audio sources, unexplained switching between navigation sources. Not holding out much hope unless Ford fixes it on...
  5. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

A day at the beach. Wanted to take the doors and the entire top off, but got lazy.
  6. 1Up bike rack, Kuat Pivot, Curt hitch - Sasquatch

Resurrecting an old thread, it was a great inspiration for me when I was researching bike racks. This is the Kuat Pivot v2 with the passenger-side swing and the Kuat Transfer v2 bike rack on a Curt hitch receiver. Very solid and absolutely no movement or wiggle from either the Pivot or the...
  7. New Wildtrak in NE Florida & the U.P.

I've been to Windrock many times, so I am aware of many of the trails. Been to a couple of Jeep Jamborees there too. Some rocks, some mud, some easier trails. It's one of my favorite places in the southeast. I am also a strong proponent of Tread Lightly. Just wish some of the side-by-sides there...
  8. New Wildtrak in NE Florida & the U.P.

Thanks, that may force me to join facebook again if I want to participate. I do have a few jeep buddies that I am sure I can go wheeling with, but they like rock crawling at Windrock and other places, and I am not sure I am ready to bash my new wildtrak on the rocks. Thanks for the info.
  9. New Wildtrak in NE Florida & the U.P.

I'm in Jacksonville but not really a FB guy. There are 3 or 4 active jeep groups here so hoping there may be one for Broncos soon if not already. My former jeep club was jeeps only so I may not be welcome there.
  10. New Wildtrak in NE Florida & the U.P.

Once I aired down the tires a little after driving off the lot (they were at 50 psi), I couldn't believe how smooth the Bronco drove on the 1500 mile drive back to Florida. I haven't really been off-road yet except a few aggregate roads in the U.P. but may at least do a little beach driving soon.
  11. New Wildtrak in NE Florida & the U.P.

Just returned to Florida from the U.P. with my 2023 4-dr. Wildtrak. Previous owner of a moderately-built 2010 JKU and then a 2014 JK Rubicon. Decided I wanted to get back to a 4-dr. and chose the Bronco over a JL. I had intended to order a 2024 Black Diamond with Sasquatch but then the strike...
