  1. From Jeep TJ to Basequatch: Greetings from Acadia National Park (Pictures)

Welcome buddy. Great pics. My wife and I visited Acadia years ago for one of our wedding anniversary trips and loved it.
  2. Who's still on their original Bronco windshield? 👀

Counting the original, I'm on my third.
  3. Apple CarPlay disconnect issue - Solved?

I have had the exact same experience as Brian. I just default to using the USB cable if the wireless Carplay doesn't work, which is about once a week. I find that the wireless function drops most frequently when I've already been out and about, then stop for an errand. Then I come back out...
  4. Post your snow pics! ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

We got a little over 10 inches in Manassas. I got a good workout from the shoveling :)
  5. Almost there… extended warranty?

Thought I was losing my mind. I couldn't find mine either like I could before. I do not like that they removed that feature - that we could see our warranty coverage in the app. I know we can confirm it/check with any dealer but we shouldn't have to do that.
  6. Much needed "Enhanced Window Operation" OTA software update now installing

Worked perfectly. No shaking, jiggle or anything when I had driver and passenger windows rolled down halfway this morning. Thanks!
  7. We're in a Beachy Mood!!! Show us your Rig on Sand!

    Ocracoke, NC this past week.
  8. Trip to the South

Yepper that's it for sure. And I guess I could have called it "Trip to the DEEP South" - more accurate. Living in Northern VA doesn't feel like the south after growing up in GA. HA
  9. Trip to the South

Absolutely true! And much appreciated..... Also, I see you're in the ATL. I grew up in Gwinnett County and was down there visiting my parents.
  10. Trip to the South

Hey bro, I get 93 octane either at BP or Sunoco, though I’ve gotten 91 at Sunoco (the only place you can get 91 around here) before and it’s fine. Around here it’s good to have the extra HP’s and worth it to me, and I usually get discounts too. My BD seems to like it so I just do it, I guess...
  11. Trip to the South

    Yep right around there !
  12. Trip to the South

Drove down to see my folks in GA a few days ago, and the Bronco did great. This was my first 500+ mile trip (one way) in it and it did great….. very smooth at highway speeds, and I managed 22.7mpg (2.7L) on the last tank with BP 93 octane. Anyway I felt I had to share, also a couple pics too...
  13. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

Yeah, I was gonna say.... in addition to eruption, Roly has his shelter green Raptor comin, plus Explorer can come in forged green metalllic too....so, there are options if you like green :)
  14. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

It's cool but that other poster mentioned about Nightmist Blue on the old 'stangs.... I saw at least one in the Mecum auction in Indy on tv this past weekend....that is awfully tempting. But Dave's excellent breakdown of the full cost of that undertaking for the non-painters (the bulk of us I...
  15. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

Ok thanks for all the detailed thoughts. Huge help. I'm guessing Fordified sent the "laugh" emoji to my first post because I asked about the $1k thing.....I was referring to that amount from your first post but I think you were saying $1k just for the additional touches that you had...
  16. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

Dave - great analysis, thanks for all that. Would you say then that something similarly done, changing to AMB or the like, would be about $1k or a little more with proper prep? Thanks
  17. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

For Johnny Bronco and others that have AMB - the OP commented that the AMB didn't look good at all in direct sunlight. What are your thoughts on that? Do you agree? I have also thought about repainting my AGM at some point into AMB. But it looks pretty good as is. Thoughts and comments...
