  1. Need help and advice with suspension, wheels and tires!!!!!

Thanks! I’m really happy with FP coilovers. Forgive me for not being overly technical, but I’ll just say everything about the ride quality seems improved over the stock hitatchis.
  2. Need help deciding what Trim to buy

I’ve had my non sas BD 2.3 for a year now (auto/4A transfer case). Upgraded the wheels first, and later the suspension (FP coilovers) and tires (35s). I agonized about doing the tires for a while due to posts about 4.46 gearing and “weak” front axle. The truck drives fine on 35s for my daily...
  3. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Man that sucks; sorry that happened to you. I saw your Bronco (in working order) this week on the trails (I did Yankee Boy Basin, Ophir, Imogene). Mine is also a BD 2.3/auto non-sas (35s and Ford Performance Coilovers)
  4. Need help and advice with suspension, wheels and tires!!!!!

    I also have a non-Sas 23 Black Diamond. Opted for Method 703 (17x8.5 / +35 offset) and Ford Performance Coilovers. Also - Toyo OC AT3 (35 x 12.5)
  5. Alignment Post Lift

I actually was going to get the lift installed at the dealership initially; had an appointment set up and everything, but they cancelled because their guy had an unexpected emergency and offered to reschedule to a different week. I guess they only have one guy that knows how to do that work...
  6. Alignment Post Lift

That’s my expectation of the tech as well. The invoice says tech drove the vehicle and denotes it with an “ok”. I have a hard time believing any self respecting alignment tech drove it for a reasonable distance and concluded alignment was good.
  7. Alignment Post Lift

Thanks for the advice. Currently - steering wheel is slightly tilted right and the truck pulling to the left.
  8. Alignment Post Lift

I’ve yet to visit that one, so will be next choice if I have to go back to a dealer.
  9. Alignment Post Lift

I read your related post recently. I’m sorry your experience was less than satisfactory. The service experiences have made me consider other brands as well, but I do really enjoy the Bronco and so does my family. On a separate note, your build thread aided with my decision to take the plunge on...
  10. Alignment Post Lift

Friendly Ford located in Crosby, TX
  11. Alignment Post Lift

Hey thanks for sharing your experience. Happy to hear your issues were resolved.
  12. Alignment Post Lift

Hey thanks for that information. See, this is why appreciate this forum so much. Lots ok experience and knowledge here. This also reveals more opportunities about dealership service. They should know what kind of alignment to apply, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Not surprised though. I...
  13. Alignment Post Lift

Hey there. The lift shop did have a machine but didn’t have the exact spec. They dialed it in as best they could but still recommended official alignment. Honestly, it was solid before I took it to Ford, but I wanted to have alignment documented from Ford and proper spec. Go figure…
  14. Alignment Post Lift

Thanks. I’m debating whether going back through dealership is worth the effort. I’m generally a patient and reasonable person, but I’m about fed up with the shotty service. That’s the only part that’s been consistent about my experience with Ford - the service is shitty where I’m located.
  15. Alignment Post Lift

Installed Ford Performance lift on 5/31 by a local shop and had alignment performed by local dealership on 6/4 (Friendly Ford of Crosby). I used the dealers complimentary valet service and they picked up and dropped off the vehicle. I wasn’t home to take delivery, when the vehicle was dropped...
  16. Bronco Team 2 door.

All clean (pre lift) followed by dirty (post-lift)
  17. WIN AN ARB AWNING & ROOM

Awning would be perfect for this Texas heat! Subbed!
  18. Annoying rattle over driver side left shoulder

I experienced the same after the first time taking hard top off and putting it back on. I used a drill on those bolts the first time. Second time, I used a wrench to hand tighten and seemed to have fixed it for me. I do hear the hard top flex a bit from time to time on bumpy roads, but I assume...
  19. Road noise?

I have a two door with hard top and [thin] factory headliner. Noise is subjective. I don’t notice it much at speeds of ~50mph or less, but gets progressively louder beyond that (especially with cross winds). I have to raise my voice to speak with other passengers. I drown it out with some music...
