I’m curious, did you install this and what are your thoughts? Did anyone else install?

I just realized that my Off Roadeo credit expired yesterday... I have a 2023 Bronco and apparently June 30th was the last day for all 2023 models. Has anyone been able to get an extension? I emailed them and was politely told no exceptions. But hoping someone has had luck in the past. Thanks!

tell me more about the Utopia set up…. what did you do? I’ve been daydreaming about adding Utopia TBM tweeters, 3.5wm mids, and then 8WM in the kicks (no idea if they will fit). What are you driving them with and how do they sound?

Highly highly highly recommend MTI Acoustics for their dash plates and tailgate sub. They will cut them to fit the speakers and I can confirm that the Focal Flax 3 way will fit and sounds amazing...

If it were me, I would want an active three way set up for the fronts with the JL VX I dsp/ amp with a custom tune from Jeff Hald at Total Tuning/ MTI. He can tune remotely if you are not in Texas. For the rears, you are really only going to get fill, so you don’t necessarily need to go crazy...

I’ve got the JL JD500/1 for the sub (running the JL 12WT3) and the JL VX800/8I running the rest of the speakers. For the fronts, I’m running active three way Focal Flax and the MTI pods for the Focal Flax 6.5 2 ways in the rear. MTI did the tune as well.

I don’t think it’s realistic to think that you could sell the HEL for what you paid for it 5 years from today. I think the Bronco will depreciate less than some other vehicles, similar to Jeeps. i also think that by adding the REB as an option on all HE in 24, the overall rarity in that model...

@HOSSMAN - did you do this at Custom Sounds in Austin? I was just in their store kn Burnet yesterday and they showed me a picture of that sub box in a bronco.

The brown leather with the plaid inserts was one of the main selling points for me on the HEL. The surprise to me was the copper dashboard color. It has a little shine to it and looks really good. I haven’t seen all the trims and colors in person, but is that also only available in the HEL?

Am I allowed to ask if your asking price is MSRP? I’m curious because of the last comment about finding them below msrp because dealers are “sweating”. That was not my experience when shopping for my HEL. I’ll edit to add that I absolutely love mine and have no regrets.

I picked my HEL up two weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. It’s just fun to drive! looking forward to going to the off roadeo next.

@Clump Do you take the Bronco script logo liners out and then replace them with the carpeted mats? Or does the carpeting lay on top of the liners? My build does not have the upgraded carpet liners and I was debating purchasing a set.
