also good to know, i was just a little worried water was getting in but it makes lots of sense now as we did get a lot of snow here and i do have the rubber mats. will definitely try this out and hope it doesn’t happen again
I left my bronco parked outside and had frost inside the vehicle, I also had some water come in on the quarter glass passenger rear when we got some rain but dealer said “Unable to duplicate concern” i know it looks like dust but it isn’t lol
wondering if anyone else has had this problem
no clue. all they told me was trans needed to be replaced did not make sense to me either it’s probably just the output shaft seal. maybe it lost too much fluid. but like i said christmas day my car sat in the same spot all day and not one drop of oil in the garage but the next day it’s pouring...
my car has the same thing, dealer took it though the wash and said “we were unable to duplicate your concern” definitely not as bad as yours. my vehicle is currently at the dealer. dropped it off yesterday. manual trans oil leak and it needs a transmission. i feel the same way i don’t know if...
update 2: got a call from the dealer after 28h of the car being at the dealer(first update that they gave me) and bronco needs a transmission replacement. they were unable to duplicate a concern with the top but all they said was that they ran it though the wash so I will be using a garden hose...
haven’t had them off but my passenger side front was misaligned from the factory and the weather stripping was pinched. the same dealer is looking at it so i’ll give them a heads up
trust me this has been on my mind all day lol, i was trying to look up some under carriage pictures to see where the drain bolt and filter are to see if it is residual oil from past oil change but had no luck.
also funny cause I am a mechanic and have lifted my car 2 times to undercoat and...
update 1: got a phone call and they said they haven’t even got it in the main shop yet for my original concern about the top leaking. I asked about the oil leak obviously and they said they’d let me know tomorrow what our next step is. only problem is it’s my main car… won’t have a car and will...
took my car in for the second oil change at 4K miles (i do my oil changes every 3k and did one at 1k for break in) and had a concern of my top seeping water since we finally had a good storm in utah. not a lot of water but enough to make a little pool on passenger rear. Dropped my car off and...
this is crazy, i am a tech at a dealer and i just don’t think the dealer cared enough to get it fixed, they should’ve found the broken wire first thing, maybe their neglect to find the correct problem the first time shorted the module. what a joke.
I’ve only driven/owned manual cars and I’m used to having to feather the gas to get the rev match when i’m downshifting. On the manual in the Bronco I have noticed that the rps drop rather quickly when clutch in and trying to get the revs up? I have tried down shifting without rev matching...
