One last update, for anyone dealing with the same issue. See attached video, my set of lights did not come with the required 3rd brake light harness. He starts talking about it around the 11:30 mark. I'll probably just make my own tap for it.
In researching I found another similar China brand and they state you need to connect a harness to the 3rd brake light if you have base halogens. My lights never came with that harness. See link and read the bold section, I'm guessing I need that harness to make them work...
I have not messed with them, but plan on tinkering in the spring. I saw on an Amazon review that someone was able to get them to work properly, but I can't contact the guy. Unless I find a suitable replacement between now and then.

Thanks for the reply. After a little reading I think I might be missing something from VLand. I read on one add that you need a harness to go from standard lights to LED. I’ve sent photos and video, guess I’ll wait and see.
I have a 23 Big Bend 2 door with the mid package. I decided to try and go cheap when I wanted to upgrade my tail lights from the standard (non LED) my Bronco came with… V-Land are made in China and were about 1/2 the price of other LEDs at the time.
