So finaly got an update from the shop that has the Bronco. No sub-frame damage like originally claimed. Just going to pay out of pocket for a new lower contro arm, and transmission cross-member is what they are calling it.
Sounds like you know it all man. Your a smart guy for sure.
I actually did inspect after sourgrass. Something I have always done with all my vehicles after track days or trails.
Relax...
I guess I should have been more clear. I have not done anything other than fire roads since Sourgrass. There was no damage from that trail, nor any unusual tire wear. Everything was normal up until this past Friday.
So just got back from camping the other day. Noticed some unusual front tire wear on the trip. Keep in mind the only thing I have done is some very basic fire roads. I take it to a local Les-Schwab to have the alignment checked out. I get a phone call that they wont touch it due to sub frame...
I got a stock replacement subwoofer box meant for a 8" Kicker L7T w/ included grill.
150 picked up, or 175 shipped anywhere in the continental US.
I test fit it but did not use. Fits like a glove. Just ended up going a completely different route with my subwoofers.
Going to be doing some camping and trails in the Mammoth Lake area. May even hit Death Valley one of the days. 10/1 - 10/5 are the days im going. I have a spot at REVERSED CREEK CAMPGROUND.
Open invite. Will have to get your own campsite.
There is a specific forum for sports. I wont roast you. But you may not get the same treatment from others in any of the other main topics outside of the California posts.
Theres a guy in Socal that works on all 4x4 vehicles and makes anything thats made of metal for a vehicle. Had him make me a front and rear bumper for my older Tacoma. He's welds_taco on IG.
