Me. Learned how to properly detail a car about 50 years ago with my first one. ā64 Dodge Coronet.
We are in Quartzsite AZ for the winter. The water here is so full of minerals, water spots are terrible. Luckily there has been no rain(OK, .01ā one time), so I dust off the Bronco every day or two...
Interesting thread. I have always kept my vehicles clean, itās therapy for me. Learned how to properly detail a car when I got my first, 50 years ago. We might take our Bronc on gravel roads, etc, but we would never take it where we take our Rzr.
Side note, when I took my Harley Trike to a trike...
I updated the app the other day. Guess I shouldnāt have. I rotated my tires today since I needed the left front wheel off to get to the PCV hose to install a catch can. I no longer see any way to enter your own maintenance. Then I see an entry for the visit I had recently to my dealer to have...
Wife uses cotton balls soaked with peppermint oil in the basement compartments in our RV, no rodent damage yet in 3 years of this coach and 7 with previous coach. Also a few motion sensor lights underneath. As for her beloved Bronco, the garage is pretty well sealed up, I built it 20 years ago...
I usually set it on the first click, slower fill but it doesnāt shut off prematurely. Carryover from a previous car that didnāt like it full blast either.
Wife uses peppermint oil on cotton balls in the RV, one in each basement compartment, a few under the hood. Renew with a few drops of oil every month or so. We see no rodent evidence.
Here in humid western Washington the Irish Spring soap turns into a slimy mess.
I changed the oil in my previous car over 60 times over 16 years. Never stripped the drain plug or replaced it. Replaced the washer a few times. Never used a torque wrench on a drain plug either, but Iāll bet I have done 2,000 oil changes in 40 years
Wife had a '96 Eddie Bauer when we got together in 2001. She loved it and it was immaculate. We traded it for a pickup in '02 because we needed a truck. She always missed it. When these 6g's came out, she took notice. We were casually talking about replacing the car this year, and happened to be...
The Wolo Bad Boy is a pretty loud horn. It's a distinctive tone too, kind of gets your attention. Popular with motorcycle riders because they are small & loud. Easy to find, Harbor Freight, etc.
