While you may or may not be able to download the app from the app stores, my understanding is that development of the application has ceased and it will not have any updates. I haven't heard that the app will stop working on any specific date, but will it will not be developed further.

I can confirm. You aren't allowed to drive your own vehicle at an Off-Roadeo Event. The vehicle that you drive may not be the same model as the one that you own. Each location has a limited number of vehicles, in a limited number of configurations.
