Happens all the time on my 2023 Wildtrak. Usually when I’m filling up - the key is in the cup holder, I get out, close the door, damn.
I found it only affects the driver side door though(!), so I just have to walk to the passenger side, open the door, curse Ford and retrieve the key.

Happened to me on one side, fortunately I was able to fish it out after removing the plastic fender flare and removing part of the wheel well liner. I was panicking for 5 minutes though.

Right before my exit, driving on the highway at around 70mph today and the car started juddering, engine light was flashing for maybe 10 seconds.
As I slowed and pulled off it stopped. Got home and pulled fault codes:

Thanks for the encouragement. I didn’t know about the bronco trail app (Ford have spammed me with all kinds of “how to roll up the windows” content, but left this out).
Time to get researching what I should take to a first “easy” trail.
Walked into Sunnyvale Ford CA and picked up this Willdtrak Lux off the lot a couple of weeks ago. Dealer wanted 10K ADM, negotiated them down to $500 (that’s right, five hundred). I could have probably got it for MSRP. I feel like they must have conned me somehow, just not worked it out yet...
