The JCR support brackets are different and attach to the sport bar and the top and require you to remove it. I’m choosing to install both the RCI and the JCR brackets together. I hope that helps any confusion in my decision to install them at the same time when I’m ready to complete the project.

I received my bracket but haven’t installed it yet; I’m hoping to also get the JCR brackets and install them all and don’t want to remove my full rack and hard top more than once.

I received my support bracket today. My plan is to also install the JCR brackets with it. The steps require me to remove the rack, and the hard top so I really only want to do this once. I’ll update later. ✌🏼

I called RCI today; online installation guide is to be updated with instructions. No timeline was given but I haven’t received my kit yet so I guess we’ll see and I’ll update here when I learn more about it.

I suspect JCR Offroad might have either seen this or thought about it and they have a support bracket for their rack that might be useable, however I know RCI working on their own solution so since I have their rack I’m waiting for it.

I have observed this same drop in the center of my top and after speaking to customer service, the temporary solution is being sent, and added my name to the list for the permanent solution; I was told they are working on a “bracket” to support the top.

I also forgot to mention that I opted for a $150 credit for the minor scratches on my parts rather than experiencing delays to exchange parts.
