Update: I have installed my 8112s along with Metal Cloak UCAs and links. Ride height is set to 0 bc I am maxed out 81” total. I’ve been tinkering with settings but need to get off pavement to really see what they are about. Overall I’m less than week in on them too early to say a whole lot...
I bought the plugs awhile back and was planning to install them. Glad I read through this thread entirely. I’ll definitely be holding on to my OEM plugs just in case. I have the FP tune and a Cobb CAI box and filter. I’m planning to install the Mishimoto High Mount inner cooler. Curious about...
Good write up. I’ve been looking to pull the trigger on the 8112s. My usage is very similar with minimalistic/functional modifications. How are they using the stock UCAs?
I don’t know … How do these stack up against 8112s? These seem like a nice setup if you have SAS recalled shocks, and don’t want to break the bank. I would assume pricing and total customization is the difference between these and 8112. What do these ARB setups run?
I’m not sure about that. You could hit up Shock Surplus and they could probably give you some solid information. Honestly, bro the reason I’m strongly leaning towards the Bil 8112s is because they only give me 1” of lift I’m at 81” now and I can’t afford to go any higher. My garage is only 83”...
Canyon, great feed back. So I’m running a 2.3L BL SAS with stock suspension 74 weld portals and Nitto 38” TGRAPPLERS. Ideally I am looking to swap my suspension for a set of 8112’s prior to doing an EXO trip.
I have literally been waiting for the right trip date to pop. I work in Education so I have to pick my shots carefully. I gotta ask is there an ideal setup for your rig suggestions for quality of life mods or additional things to consider etc… I know their site has a fairly extensive yet basic...
Did you prep or pre paint your flares prior to install? I have this set with a shadow black 4dr. Was considering getting them body painted to match. How did you install them get them set so flush. Thanks
Just curious if you are still running these bumpers I am doing my due diligence on them because I need a rear swing gate system and I really prefer the Baja Tubular aesthetic. You and Lethal are the only ones with breakdowns on them. I wanted to get your feedback and any updates being as the OP...
I’m running a 38 spare and plan to carry other liquid stuff, so-I’m looking for more stout options. I know maintaining the OEM aesthetics was mentioned, but one of the 1st things I did was remove my OEM rear bumper for a high and tight version. Looking to go tubular high and tight now🤷🏼‍♂️ Open...
Yikes this is sounding more and more like an expensive headache which I am trying to avoid. I just placed an order late last month. Reading these reviews makes me want to rethink my decision.
