  1. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

Finally got my 35x11.5r17 installed. Went with the Wildpeak RT01. Seems like plenty of clearance with the Zone Offroad 1" level kit and big tire crash bars.
  2. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

Finally scheduled to get installed this Saturday. Went with the Falken Wildpeak RT01 instead since they are in stock.
  3. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

@Mayflower2010 I'm about to pull the trigger on 5 Wildpeak AT4W in 35x11.5r17 for my stock non-Sas Badlands. Do I need to purchase an extension or need to make any modifications to the spare tire carrier to fit these bigger tires? What did you do? Thanks!
  4. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

Any issues mounting the spare in the larger size to the carrier?
  5. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

Also, did you need to make any modifications to the spare tire carrier or brake light with the bigger 35s?
  6. 35x11.5R17 Tires (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) on Stock Badlands -- On and Off-Road Test

I'm looking at either 285/75 r17 tires or the 35s you installed. I've already replaced my crash bars with the following "big tire" crash bars. https://www.extremeterrain.com/readylift-bronco-high-clearance-anti-intrustion-beams-67-21200.html I'm pretty sure the 34" tires will work with these...

  10. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

Just finished installing and wiring the relay. Aux 5 will be used to power up the winch. Just need ups to deliver the skid
  11. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

@mcinfantry couple quick questions on your install. 1. Did you mount your solenoid on the center of the winch, or off to the side? Mine has the option to mount the solenoid off center towards the passenger side. 2. Did you run your ground wire to the battery, or just ground it to the Bronco...
  12. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

If you are looking at the frame. Under the driver side front frame horn there is a metal plate that comes from under the frame and slightly overlaps the front. With the RC kit, this 1/4 inch overlap needs to be ground down so that it's flush with the front of the frame. There are a couple...
  13. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

Thanks mcinfantry. I also have the 2.3l. Tomorrow is Sawzall day. Glad to hear I don't need to grind down the plate overlap.
  14. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

As part on the install, I know the frame horns need to be sawed off. But does the plate overlap on the right side need to be ground down flush like on the RC kit? I don't see any mention on needing to grind it flat in the Lobo install guide. Thanks
  15. Video: DIY installing the RC Hidden Winch with capable bumper (not a how-to)

@Boreal wouldn't the freespool issue occur on any bumper? Or is it unique to the capable bumper?
  16. Video: DIY installing the RC Hidden Winch with capable bumper (not a how-to)

Was there any issues or modifications needed to install? RC lists this kit as not compatible with the capable bumper. Thanks
