Same basic dates as you. Mine flipped two days ago. Today it went blank back to order confirmed. That often happens right before delivery I believe. So I think we're all getting close...
I have the same original blend date. As of yesterday, even my dealers view showed built with no further update since 7/12. So same situation as you. Odd to see this along with other later-built vehicles showing up. Is it a missing part... hail damage... or something else. Nobody can say, apparently.
Interesting. Mine still just says "in production" even though chat insists it's been built and is on its way. More and more, I feel like a batch of the two doors that were built in that first wave are in some strange limbo either because of a missing part, the hail, or something else. Guess I'll...
Curious as to when your tracker flipped. My two door had an original blend date of 7/10 and showed in production on 7/14 just like yours. But no further update since then even though Ford chat says it has an ETA of August 5...
Also same with an ETA of 8/5. Just asked chat and they continue to see the same info of "built" and an ETA of 8/5. But the tracker still shows in production and I'm pretty skeptical it's on its way. No railcar info or anything else, either.
I've had my share of these encounters with everything from watches to cars. Perhaps the best revenge story is the following about John Bonham from led zeppelin...
"One afternoon, bored and walking along Sunset Boulevard, Bonham walked into a Rolls-Royce dealership looking suitably dishevelled...
Not sure but I'm starting to feel pretty confident that I'm actually getting this vehicle. They had a specific date of arrival. Mine's coming by rail so we'll see.
Meanwhile, based on other info out there, I'm not really sure how many two door HEs are gonna see the light of day any time soon...
So with the tracker stuck on in production forever I just reached out to Ford chat...
My 2-door race red HE was built on 7/12 and should be at the dealer August 5.
I have identical blend and in production dates as you. (2 door RR HE 2.3 auto)
Curious if you're still showing in production on the front door like I am? If so maybe I'm also built and just not updating.
And either way, it sounds like very few 2 doors are gonna get into the wild anytime soon....
Personally, and I'm way biased, RR is great on this version for lots of reasons including the matching grill lettering and interior accents. It's all tied together nicely.
As far as navy and red combo, those colors definitely go together.
Putting aside the more obvious red white and blue USA...
The really interesting thing to me is the idea that some of the regular heritage editions might end up being as rare as -- or even rarer than -- the limited versions. For example, if they really are discontinuing race red for '24, how many will ultimately get produced, especially in two door...
