I did the mabette steps. They are great for only $300. Coating is a little thin on them but flat black in a rattle can matches perfectly.

I’ve only had my bronco for a few weeks now, and I’ve had the same noise. I took a microfiber towel and stuffed it between the soft top frame and the roof where I thought the sound was coming from. It made a huge difference. I know it’s not a permanent fix but definitely kept me from going crazy.
