  1. Windshield Ice Accumulation

Since I went through Thermalblade, I have the 17's. Looks like there's room for 18's, but I have the same perspective you do. I got the non-heated ones on about a month ago, swaps quickly. Thermalblade sent me extra wire covers as well, so good to have those extras. I'll order another set of...
  2. Windshield Ice Accumulation

So I ran them all winter, drove through some really bad storms that I had to stop and deice my headlights. The wipers were great, no accumulation. And when I remote started in the really cold mornings or with snow/ice accumulation, there was no sticking to the windshield and the warm blades...
  3. Windshield Ice Accumulation

So no complaints so far. Had some snow and ice overnight this week and seems to be working well. Remote started the bronco and wipers were pretty clean when I came out. I haven't driven it in a big storm yet, so that's the next real test. I do think the warm squeegees are cleaning my windshield...
  4. Windshield Ice Accumulation

Those would be any easer install, simpler wiring harness. But the replacement thermalblade squeegee is $24.99.
  5. Windshield Ice Accumulation

Since there's been no followup on this, I went and purchased a set of thermalblade heated wipers. They are the ones Gatekeeper resells, but Gatekeeper also includes a bracket for the extra money. I 3d printed a bracket (if anyone wants he STL or the tinkercad info, let me know. Kind of a pain...
  6. Open Your Soft Top Without Removing the Windows! New Replacement Road Worthy Rear and Side Windows from X-Rack

Really not that bad, took me about 10 minutes. If you loosen the plates, it almost self adjusts.
  7. Open Your Soft Top Without Removing the Windows! New Replacement Road Worthy Rear and Side Windows from X-Rack

Heads up that if you shift those plates, you may need to readjust the ones over the windshield to line the pins up again. Pretty easy, just cascading adjustments.
  8. Open Your Soft Top Without Removing the Windows! New Replacement Road Worthy Rear and Side Windows from X-Rack

I'm interested in an update as well! Also, for those with rear side window issues - I helped a friend do their softop switch for the first time earlier this summer. Nothing lined up, but by adjusting the plates over the rear door and the 6 bolts inside, you can tweak the tension on the rear...
  9. Who wants a Bronco refresh?

Better winter package…headlight and windshield wiper icing over gets old fast.
  10. Who wants a Bronco refresh?

There’s a couple of solutions for this in some different threads. I 3d printed a couple of small parts that put more tension on the spring to hold the lid up. Pm if you want more info Neil
  11. Windshield Ice Accumulation

Any luck or reviews of the gatekeeper setup?
  12. Soft Top Instillation

I have dual tops and swap spring and fall. I'm nw of Boston and happy to help. PM me Neil
  13. The 4A Advantage

I have the same tires, it’s a beast in bad weather, love it in the snow!!
  14. The 4A Advantage

In mid to northern New England, I’m always in 4a in the winter. Road conditions change too quickly to adjust manually, from dry pavement to black ice patches and random snow squalls. I’ve had no issues or even ā€˜oh f*** moments’ happen in 4a. Of course, I’m not driving stupid in snow storms either.
  15. The 4A Advantage

This is a pretty decent article, I’ve been rereading every fall…https://thebronconation.com/winter-driving-in-the-new-2021-ford-bronco/
  16. Bronco Attic?

What’s the Velcro zip bag … I like the concept
  17. Storing soft top ideas?

I put a 4x8 loft shelf in my garage and an electric winch on a trolly (several threads have ideas on that). I use the winch to take off the tops and store them in the loft.
