Mine did the same thing. Someone put an aftermarket screen in one of theirs. I think that eliminates the apim. Might not be a bad option if you want a better setup than factory

It was the APIM, part was $850ish Had a friend that's a tech at Ford dealer replaced it for $200 on the side. Has to be programmed
