So, if I want to install a component speaker with separate woofer, tweeter and crossover, I can just take the 1/4 wires going to the kick panel and feed them to the crossover input and take the crossover's woofer output to kick panel and run the crossover's tweeter output wire to dash to feed...

For my dash cam where it has two separate power wires - one for driving (on when car is on) and one for parking (direct battery) - I used #35 for the driving and #25 for the parking. I got micro2 fuse tap from amazon.
