do you have the torque specs for the body bolts when adding rock rails/steps that use the two body bolts? I have a 2 door. 2023

well that sux… I tried inserting the plastic piece but it is not going in without force, and I’m a bit hesitant. I might sand it down and give a try.

i’m assuming it is the vibration causing the parts to touch, just enough movement.

I had someone print one for me. It is pretty tough to install, I feel like I’d need to use a hammer to tap it into place. The guy made it fairly thin, but maybe it needs to be even thinner? Did you have to use a lot of force to put it in place?

I have manual seats, to get to the track, did you have to remove the plastic trim on the side of the seat, if so any idea how to do that without breaking any clips?

@Ford Motor Company You all just need to issue a TSB and pay the man on this thread that developed the fix for it. Dealership will just jack up my interior trying to find the problem. Issue the TSB and stop telling people to go to the dealership when they don’t have the fix.

i have the same issue on my passenger seat. Can someone print these and mail to me? I‘d be happy to pay full cost, plus shipping and any reasonable markup. I have it bad!! It rattles constantly.

when you say you removed the seat, just the seat back, or did the seat bottom need to come out too?

i have the same issue, my drivers side rear seat lanyard will fold the headrest, but the seat will not fold. 2 door model, what is the fix? I prefer to do it myself.

Interesting but mine is coming from the Sun visor and it stops the moment I disconnect the visor.

agreed, same issue for me! 2023 Sas Badlands….It sounds like I’m driving a 30 year old mattress! Very annoying….just saying…my Jeep Gladiator definitely didn’t have all these noises. So far I have a crazy rattle at the passenger side Sunshade, crazy squeaky suspension, and my front passenger...
