Some people are jerks. You’d think they’d drive Chevrolets but I guess some drive Fords… or maybe they’re just Nissan ultima drivers who take out their resentments on Ford people
Guys, I think some of you misconstrue me. I manage the issue: I listen for the (very faint) sound of the brake engaging (hard to do if you’re parking in a noisy place) and look for the red light (hope it’s not lying), and I leave it in gear. It’s not that I can’t manage the issue, it’s that it...
Hey guys, though I’ve always loved my bronco, the one thing that I’ve always despised about it (aside from the unreadable tach-but that’s another post) is the absence of a mechanical parking brake. I have the 7 speed, so every time I park the vehicle, I have anxiety: did the brake actually...

I know it’s a little late to chime in, but I have never regretted getting a two door for a second.
I suppose styling is a matter of taste, but I think the two door is a lot more graceful in appearance than the four; the four comes across a bit ungainly.
But that’s the trade off for more space...
My Ford dealer also tried to pull this on me when I picked up my Bronco (after waiting two years). I told them that was never part of the deal and laughed in their faces. I told them I would not sign it and dared them to make an issue of it. And you know what? They backed down.
By far the worst feature on my new Bronco is the electronic emergency brake. Probably only an annoying feature for drivers of seven speeds, but oh how annoying it is. Every time you stop the car, you set the brake with this nothing of a switch. A constant worry that I’ll forget or miss setting...
