I am only slightly mechanical. Any suggestions on where to get these installed? I tried an IAG dealer but he only works on Subaru's. Not comfortable taking apart the fuse box and trying to splice things into a new truck.

It uses four digit and pound to unlock shifter. Kinda a pain since I never turn it off but it protects the Bronco from theft too. I surf so much that I don’t want to not beable to set it up when it’s good and I’m running to get out is left on.

I surf and lock the key fob in my console vault. My Bronco came with a keypad on the dash that has a combo to unlock the transmission-take it out of park. I have a keypad on the door as well. Can’t see a way to surf w/o this setup.

Glad I read this thread, I was considering it. Saved me, I live at the beach-never good for rust.

Mines had hood alarm issues too. Lowering the hood stops a little more may have stopped it but I have an appt in a week with dealer.

I was going to take it easy, no long freeway drives, going through the gears for the first thousand miles but the dealer told me only worry about it for the first 500 miles. I just cleared 500 miles but haven't really pushed it yet.

Actually if I raise mine at all the hood ajar alarm goes off. I just saw a Badlands in my neighborhood and it is totally flush. Ugh

Mine are like this too, I won't adjust....

Mine has the same thing, hood sits below fenders, one side about a quarter inch and the other an eighth. If I try to adjust it even a little up the hood ajar alarm pops on.......So guess it is supposed to be that way. Brand new.
