Iām pretty sure thatās the same one that sticks out on my Wildtrack. I havenāt taken the panels off yet but I donāt hear any flapping noise from it. Iād take some blue tape and tape it down to see if that is where the sound is really coming from.
I also run mine through the car wash regularly...
Shocks are considered a wear item ( technically an heavy wear item) and not covered by most automotive manufactures. There is a few extended warranties that do cover shocks though. Another option would possibly have been to see what the shock manufacturer Warrantee was.
My dealer had mine done for me before I took delivery. mine is a 2door also and I'm sure itās area specific on costs too. If I remember right it was 800 For mine. Iāve watch pricing around here and itās all over the place. A good one i think is worth every penny of the cost. I havenāt checked...
Just curious as to why you removed or changed. I will have the same on mine when it shows up. Iāve wondered if they would be low enough to be functional or not.
