I don’t have the horn braces. Nothing on the RC winch or the Bronco has bent and I have used my winch 30 times at least since I changed mounts. I off-road a lot all over the country. I have 97k miles on my bronco. We use it and need reliable equipment.

Yes I have changed my mind. I bent the hell out mine to the point it blocked my front sensor.if anyone is near north Alabama and wants a great deal on winch plate let me know.

100% you will bend the mounts if you winch anything at a downward angle. I have this winch mount sitting in my garage for this very reason. The much cheaper Rough Country mount has been amazing.

Modified the housing and the mount and my hood shuts without rubbing with the hood liner as well. Well worth the effort for $60.

I tried NTB, Firestone, express tire and oil, and several others in North Alabama. None of them could do it. Had to take it to Ford dealership. They did it in less than an hour.

Ordered winch mount and the lead times were spot on. Quality of product is excellent as well. No complaints from me.

For me it was much easier to find the Gray and Violet wire by unplugging the top most harness above the J3 harness (not the black one directly above J3) and the 2 harnesses below J3. With those removed as well as the J3 connector. I was able to reach in and find where the harness wires for J3...
