    Got me confused. if the tailgate is closed and locked, can I open the enclosure? was really just looking for it for some light security, after a golf round when I leave my clubs in the back. Wanted to be able to close the tailgate and not be able to open up the cover and see inside.

    That was exactly what I was trying to get at. Just wanted to make sure you couldn't lift the enclosure without opening the tailgate. Wanted to keep my golf clubs from getting easily swiped while getting grub post round.
