I replaced my Bilsteins with the Fox Performance Elite, adjustable. They work great, no issues. It did add about an inch of body lift though, but I have not noticed any noticeable differences in steering performance.
I installed a radio in my Sas Wildtrack Bronco about 6 months after I got the vehicle (2022). Immediately after starting the vehicle I got the same cascade of warnings that you got. I turned it off, rechecked my wiring and started it again. No issues after that and when I took it to the dealer...
I have after market bash plates that are really heavy. Ford did not charge me anything extra to remove it for an oil change the last time I went there...and after the plug started leaking, I realized why. They did not remove the plate and tried to re-use the "one time use" plug. They installed a...
Oh...one additional note on the KO3, F rated. I have not noticed any significant ride comfort change over the OEM, but then I also changed my suspension to the Fox 25 adjustable, and currently have them about mid-range.
I went with the KO3's over the Falken's. I am not disappointed. The road handling seems better than the OEM's, and they are definitely quieter than the OEM's. It still hasn't snowed here yet so I have yet to test them in snow or off road conditions. I did go with the F rating.....I wanted that...
My Bronco came with the "wrangler" 35's (315, 70 R17) so I went with the same size. This is day 3 and I already notice some significant improvements over the OEM tires. The KO3's are much quieter and the handling seems easier. I know they are heavier than the OEM's, but I haven't noticed any...
I watched that video several times of the Falken vs the BFG's. They ran the BFG's first; then the Falken's on what appears to be the same stretch of roadway, which...means any snow on the road got compacted down. That would have likely changed the conditions for the test on the second set of...
Good point. We often get what I call "Margarita" snow. It is wet, thick and slippery as hell. I'll take a "dry" snow over the wet sloppy stuff any day. That said, with Falken AT4W on my wife's 4Runner and and my F150....they did pretty well. The f150 had a tendency to slip on the back end, but...
Looking for some input. My stock tires are getting a bit tired and it's time to change them. I live in snow country and have had the Falken AT4W's on two separate vehicles in prior years. The Falken's I had on prior vehicles did very well in the snow and off road. However, they are...
Yeah. We have had little chips that we have been able to fill with resin, but this one is definitely a windshield replacement just waiting for a healthy check...lol
With a proper Dual Band HAM Radio and the proper licensing, you can talk on both GMRS frequencies and HAM frequencies. That said, neither will allow transmission on CB frequencies, although I am sure it has been done.
One difference is that GMRS only requires that you pay a fee for a license...
My wife was driving her 2022 Sasquatch in California several days ago. The temps were in the 60's, no weather, no wind. She stopped at a convenience store to get a drink and was inside for just a few minutes. When she returned to the car, her front windshield had a single, fresh crack starting...
I recall the same as BroncoSarge' post. It starts at the A arm, and works inward. I mounted my VFH under the molding below the steering wheel and at some point, intend to mount the radio had near the up fitter switches and running the Cat six under the trim. I just haven't done it yet. There are...
