Maybe they have thought about this, updated transmissions will not have the issue and people with older 1st gen transmission will get the fix. Will see how this goes, as long as is a permanent fix then I don’t mind.

Maybe you can call them and let them know, the TSB is out so if anything the should check those synchro gears in your new 7MT. Best of wishes!

completely agreed with you. That’s pretty much the same thing I’m doing at the moment. Hopefully a TSB will be out soon.

I'm hoping Ford releases a TSB soon. In the meanwhile, ill drive it like this. Love my Bronco, but this noise is somewhat disappointing

let us know how she drives Hopefully it fixes that noise and you don’t have to worry about it again. How many miles did you drive before you took it in for a check? How long did they take?

From what i was reading yesterday it might be an Input shaft bearing since it that's the main bearing in rotation when the vehicle is stationary, on neutral and with the clutch engaged. The transmission will have to be either overhauled or replaced to see if that's the problem. I talked to Ford...

i see, thanks for the reply. Something im concerned about is if they are using good transmission fluid. I really dont want to void the warranty on the power train, but ive been so tempted on changing it

how’s your Bronco now? Have you noticed any improvements since your transmission got changed?

man… if that’s the case this is super disappointing. I love this truck, it’s amazing. This is the only problem I have. The weird thing is that the transmission works great, shift’s perfectly. I’ll be putting this 60,000 or 5 year warranty to use if anything.

I see, I will be taking mine to Ford on Monday as well. We’ll see what happens, I hope they can release a TSB soon.

The part that pains me the most is the wait time that most of had to go through to get the Broncos. Sorry you had to go through this.

will do soon. Im going to drop my Bronco off at Ford on Monday and leave it there over night since they want to recreate the noise on a cold start. Ill make sure to let them know about the transmission fluid level and its condition. Will keep you all update it.
