Hey, do ya all remember when your vehicle battery finally died and all you had to do was just put in a new one and that was it !!! Now ya gotta pump your brakes, flash your lights, drive the car straight for 2 miles over 40, reset your windows and probably something else I missed, oh, and don't...
  2. Automatic Transmission Leak issue leads to surprising discovery & rebuilt transmission

Something's fishy about that diagnosis. Go to another dealership and get another opinion about it.
  3. Updating

I see alot of people talking about updating. Is this a necessary evil that has to happen to my vehicle to keep it operating correctly?
  4. Why chintzy factory tie rods?

Why does Ford use such chinsey tie rod assemblies on the Broncos. I bet I could bend one in half with a pair of channel locks. Kinda scary when ya think about it.
  5. 2" puck style lift kits

For those doing a self installation of the 2" puck style lift kits I found it to be a much easier remounting of each spring after the spacer is installed by mounting them on opposite sides they came off of due to the bolt pattern change which causes top end spring angle to be inconsistent with...

  9. Any issues mounting 285/70R 17s tires on the factory 17" wheels?

I want to install more aggressive tires on the Bronco than the stock 255s , can't afford new rims til after the first of the year. Can anyone tell me if putting 285 70R 17s on the factory rims would be a problem as far as turning is concerned, other than maybe having to remove the crash tubes ?
  10. Aftermarket F/R Bumper List, Factory add-ons and Compatibilities with Sensors

How about a Full Bull bar front bumper that isn't winch compatible. Not everyone finds it necessary to have a winch. When you live in an area where deer are as plentiful as flies this application can help.

  12. Backspace & offsets of wheels that Ford uses with beadlock wheels on 33's?

In the very near future I'm purchasing new rims and tires for the Bronc, can anyone tell me the backspace/ offset of the wheels that Ford uses that have the beadlock rims and the 33s. They seem to be about flush with the outside of the stock fender flares, or just a little more.
