  1. Bronco Raptor Driving in Snow Storm - First Experience

The worse sh-tuff gets, the better I feel about driving in snow. Virginia Beach...no snow ever...I had to speed up and slow down to avoid vehicles spinning out of control. Chicago to DC after flights were cancelled during a blizzard, plow trucks and 4X4s lining the ditches. No other traffic...
  2. Visual Autowerks rear window vents - reviews / feedback?

Thanks 604Bronco. You're right, but you missed a word...VERY little info. PM? Really? Like this info couldn't help the rest of the class??? No dog so I would probably only use while sleeping in the back for whatever reason anyway.
  3. Visual Autowerks rear window vents - reviews / feedback?

Has anyone here used these? I stumbled across them while looking for an active venting solution.
  4. Cargo area cigarette plug socket - power on all the time?

If you do a lot of camping, there is another video I came across where this guy used LED light strips, $30 from Amazon and wired them into the cigarette lighter. Double sided tape to the bottom of the back window and on the cap above it. Lots of light for the cargo area and the area around the...
  5. Cargo area cigarette plug socket - power on all the time?

Here is a cool vid about prepping the wires so you can easily switch them around as your needs change.
  6. Cargo area cigarette plug socket - power on all the time?

Understand that. Back in the day tapping into the dash stereo power to a relay to a fuse block was the thing. Then run from the fuse block either directly to the accessory or through a switch. Maybe sacrifice one upfitter switch, the lowest amp one, and mount the relay and fuse block on the...
  7. Cargo area cigarette plug socket - power on all the time?

It is on a delay. Can't remember if it is a half hour or an hour. Do you have upfitter switches? There are I believe two wires to choose from under the dash behind the glove box. Think they are both ignition and switched...in case you need to kill the cam so there isn't any evidence.
  8. Axle is bent and not covered under warranty

I'm two miles from the Lorton station. Out of curiosity, I may just ask about that at a few local shops.
  9. 6th gen Bronco cut in HALF (and turned into a trailer) 🤯

Beat me to it, was just going to post a link. All I can think is what a waste of metal. A pickup bed with a cap makes sense. This thing could hardly even be called a trailer unless it is pulled behind this:
  10. ATOYOT related bronco question

    Thanks for the assurances.
  11. ATOYOT related bronco question

I'll take a look, should be tomorrow. Old habits die hard and I liked the shocks with a locking collar, it gave me a sense of security knowing it wasn't going to bounce and shatter on the spare.i would probably feel good using stock in a paved campground, but 65 MPH on the beltway, I'll pass.
  12. ATOYOT related bronco question

We used to have so much fun before the safety police started trying to save everybody. I was in a bicycle accident on Friday. No helmet and the same bumps and bruises I would have had WITH a helmet. I learned how to fall as a kid. I saw a link on here to a place that probably has what I had...
  13. Security devices?

Why go high tech? Just treat it like a bicycle and remove the front wheel(s). Convertibles get cut which would affect the sun slider. Full soft tops are safe because of the easy toolless operation. Sooo...door locks are optional and they can be easily defeated anyway. If remote start is an...
  14. ATOYOT related bronco question

Interesting, but I'm looking for replacement shocks that can be locked in different lengths. The fine print also said not for use while the engine is running/vehicle is in motion. Thanks for looking.
  15. ATOYOT related bronco question

1970 FJ40 with half doors and large rear window has shocks with sleeves which could be used to lock the back window in place. It was great to close it on the spare and lock the shocks. Air in through the front and out the back really helped when AC wasn't an option on a hot day. So before I...
  16. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

We get adaptive cruise control, stay in your lane, self driving, etc. But no trailer brakes? Come on...do we have to wait for Google?
  17. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

    Um...pretty much any military vehicle.
