  1. Softop + Insulation OR hardtop?

Let me clarify a couple items.....I'm not expecting the vehicle to ever become luxury car quiet. Also, I'm going to keep the softop for the summer, even if I get a hardtop. The question is really...will there be appreciable benefits to a hardtop over a softop w/ insulation during the long Ohio...
  2. Softop + Insulation OR hardtop?

Thank you all for the responses. Does anyone have any experience as to how this compares to to a hard top solution? I'm okay throwing down the cash for the hardtop if it is better.
  3. Softop + Insulation OR hardtop?

I have a 4 dr Bronco with a softop. It was never planned to be my daily, but it's going to have to be. I'd like to do something to reduce the window noise and make the vehicle more comfortable in Ohio winters. How would getting a bimini and sandwiching insulation between it and the soft top...
  4. 7MT shift knob cap

Does anyone know if an aftermarket cap showing the shift pattern for the stock 7MT shift knob? I'm fine with the stock knob, but the cap looks cheap.
  5. Engine Sound Enhancement obtrusive after upgrade

Thanks Gump. I'm going to disable. Was wondering if there was a way to keep them active, but reasonable after the upgrades. I do wonder if the factory sub has the engine sound sent to it....was hoping someone might know off the top of their head.
  6. Engine Sound Enhancement obtrusive after upgrade

Hi All, I have a 2024 Bronco w/ the 7 speaker system. I installed a kicker key 200.4 Amp, new speakers, and a Kicker 10" hideaway powered sub installed with a plugnplay kit in the old Bronco. I have kept the factory subwoofer active. The engine sounds are being amplified through the system...
  7. Swapped Bronco - need help w/ audio upgrade

I recently swapped my 2022 Bronco w/ the 6 speaker system for a new 2024 Bronco w/ the 7 speaker system. I had a kicker key 200.4 Amp and Kicker 10" hideaway powered sub installed with a plugnplay kit in the old Bronco. I was able to remove these parts before swapping Broncos and would like...
  8. Base Model Rear Locking Differential

I too am interested in a Detroit TrueTrack LSD. Anyone have one installed? I realize having a welded ring and pinion means I'll need to replace with a M220 JL ring and pinion, but how much harder does that make the job? Anyone have a ballpark labor cost to expect for the job?
  9. New York Updated 4.46 M220 locker rear only- $1300

I have a 4dr big bend, auto, with the 3.73 gears. I wish I had been able to get a rear locker at minimum. I also have 35" tires and would appreciate the gearing change. What would be required to install these on vehicle? Ant addition parts or considerations?
  10. Montana 4dr OEM Rock Rails (will ship)

Still available? I'm very interested. Would need shipped to Ohio.
  11. Swap to stock tires for Ohio snow?

Thanks for the response. I believe the Yoko's are M+S rated, but not snowflake rated. The Bridgestone Duelers that came stock are also M+S and not snowflake rated. Was wondering if the Yoko's would so much worse than the pizza cutter Bridgestone's that it would make sense to swap.
  12. Yokohama Geolander

I have Yokohama Geolandar AT-X's in 35/12.5/17. I have nothing but good things to say after ~1,000 miles in mostly dry conditions. I've never had another larger off-road worthy tire though, so I don't have a direct comparison. I'm definitely pleased with the ride and the noise.
  13. Swap to stock tires for Ohio snow?

I have a big bend that came with the stock 255/75/17's tires. I did a 2" level and upgraded to Yokohama Geolandar X-AT's in 35x12.50r17 with aftermarket wheels. I live in Ohio and am wondering if the 35's are going to do okay in the snow? Or, would I benefit from putting the stock wheels/tires...
