I know Iām being lazy because I know this has been posted before. I donāt recall what this is but it seems like disconnecting it affects the A.S.S. function as well as other things. Asking for clarification, please
In the link I included, youāre able to place a jumper for the A S S to disable it; itās a freebie. In the link it was done on a F150, so I donāt know if it works on Broncos
I have a 2dr OB. I DESPERATELY want to disable the A S S system. I have reviewed a thread on this topic on this forum. Is the harness for the A S S just behind the button? And if so, do you get to it?

Depends if you want locking lugs, also: 4 wheels x 5 lugs=20, 4 locking nuts, 2 nuts and 1 locking nut for spare. Youāll have to purchase a set of 24 standard nuts because most vendors sell them as a set. Just my experience
Purchased these āstandardā looking Gorilla lugs. I bought the regular lugs on Ebay ($38) and the locking from https://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/GOR71431NBC5.htm. The vendor buys bulk and repackages them so you can purchase 24 regular and 5 locking with socket key.
I have read that disconnecting the module on the battery neg terminal will permanently disable A.S.S. on F150/Rangers. Does anyone know if this holds for Bronco?
So I understand Forscan is a 3rd party app My Ford dealer is clueless. Iām in SE Michigan (Detroit). Where or who might provide this technology.
Thanks
Iāve owned several Bronco IIās in the day as well as its successor, Explorer Sport. Iāve not had a vehicle with the spare wheel attached to the back. Iām toying with the idea of a wheel cover. Asking for general thoughts; is it worth the cost, fear of theft, noise or other opinions? And where...
For what itās worth, I purchased Weather tech branded mats(front/back) at my local Costco (SE Michigan) for my ā22 Outer Banks. Easy to cut to an exact fit. Iāve never bought Weather Tech directly from them so I have no way to know a comparison. These are pretty thick and for me will work well...
I just picked up my 2022 Outer Banks. Maybe Iām being a bit too paranoid, but concerned the spare might grow legs. I donāt have any garage space so itās outside. What are you using to secure your spare? I guess I msy have to buy a full set log locking lugs. Thanks
