I’ve only seen people with 2.7l have issues with the phasers.

@BroncoFanTX, mine definitely has a rattle sporadicly. I’m hoping it’s fixed but we’ll see. If I do have to get it repaired again I’m definitely choosing a different dealership. Glad you got yours back and it didn’t take too long!

I got mine back last Monday. It seems ok so far. It idles a little rough and initially start up after it’s set for a while and I think sometimes I can still hear the phaser rattle. Hopefully I don’t have the issue again later down the road.

Still no Bronco. The tech finished the phasers and had everything put back together…. Then it jumped timing. Dealership said they’d know next week if there was damage. They said it’d take 3-5 days to get a long block here if I needed to have the whole engine replaced. At this point I’m not sure...

Went back to the dealership today. Some parts for the repair were on back order and finally came in. Problem now is the tech has two trucks in front of me that need engine swaps. My broncos been there for two months and they said it’d probably be two more weeks to get it back.

Just over 5k miles and mine started rattling. Been at the dealership for 6 weeks. Took 2 weeks just for them to confirm it was the cam phasers and they’re saying some of the parts are on back order till the end of the month. Hopefully you’ll have better luck when you take it in for repair.

My original ETA was 10/22-10/26 but I got an email yesterday saying delivery was pushed back to 11/3-11/9. Then today I get a text from the dealer saying it arrived today!
