If your only passengers for the back seat will be canines, the 2 door is great! Like someone else said, we took out the back seats, made a cheap and easy platform so it was level for the big dogs, and itās been great.
My plan is to keep it forever. It's currently my daily driver, but I love it. I'll retire her to weekends and summer driving once the extended warranty is out, but as long as we can keep her running (I foresee a non-digital dash in the distant future lol), she'll be my classic car eventually!
Mine is a pavement princess, so no serious mods for me. Iāve got a two inch lift and did a rear seat delete, but other than that just seat covers (dog hair protection), floor mats, and a spare tire cover.
Loved reading about how you do this with your dad. My dad had a 68 Corvette and when he passed years ago I started showing the car as a way to keep his memory alive. Your post brought back some great memories for me. Glad to see you guys are making your own too. And beautiful build!
