Looking at the 2025 Stroppe Bronco and Iāve noticed online that some of them have a white strip below the door and some donāt? Wondering if there was a production change some time? Or is that just to odd production photos?
Iām heading up to Portland from Albany for tge night Monday. I have an appointment for a test drive of the Wildtrac at Skyline in Salem but was wondering if anyone knew of other demo Broncos in Portland or on my way up. Looking to test drive a manual and see a two door if there are any out there.
Just wondering what you folks thought aftermarket might come up with to get us a manual? NV4500 maybe? Any others out there that might be better suited? No idea what it would take for the computer issues...
Iām currently using a dealer in Corvallis, Wilison Ford, who has committed to X plan and no markup. Iām willing to reach out if anyone is interested. My dad bought a Bronco from them in 71 and five fords sense. They are solid people.
Iām guessing theyāre trying to keep the base two door as cheap as possible. If you move up to the four-door itās a way of enticing you to step up a model level.
I understand that for what itās worth Wilson is honoring my ex plan with no dealer markup. And I looked into Grainger a being out in Oregon the 1900 mile drive eats up the $1300 savings. My dad bought five Fords from this dealer and theyāve always had the best price too.
Are you reserved at Wilson? My dads salesmen was Gene Gulledge but he passed in 2001. Iām using a young guy named Cody but heās been very responsive.
My father bought his first Ford from Wilson Ford in Corvallis in 1971. It was a Bronco which he kept bone stock until he sold it in 85. I learned to drive in it and am still trying to buy it from the current owner. Seems fitting to buy a Bronco 50 years after dad did from the same dealer. ?
I wonder if these various goat modes will be an accessory upgrade Later? Like getting the FE with rock crawl and sport. There isnāt anything mechanical on an FE aside from the sway bar disconnect that would keep a Wildtrak from being an FE. I wonder how big of an accessory add on the disconnect...
Well Iāve driven 2600 miles from Idaho to AK a couple times for a rig so I have the banzai road trip routine down. I definitely prefer the low-key two Lane blacktopās like the Alcan as opposed to major freeways.
