I donāt care that they didnāt help more per se, however being of NO help and then calling me asking me to remove a thread. Telling me I drive like a hoonigan driver, when Iāve never met them, was a little off putting.
Others suggested that the shocks may be to blame, which is why they got...
I never said accutune was on the hook. I never said they were to blame. I never said the installer was to blame either. I started this thread just asking for help on how to fix the issue Iām having.
I called accutune asking for suggestions or guidance after the problem arose. They essentially...
I canāt speak on how they help other customers, but they were little to no help with me after I purchased them. I received a phone call after this thread was started. 90% of the phone call was requesting I remove this thread because they were getting some back lash from it, and the other 10% was...
Oh they did give me a solutionā¦
They told me that I should disable 4A. š¤Ø. They said they looked into my problem and went out of their way to do testing that they didnāt have to do and their solution was to disable 4A.
I have a 22 that falls within the tsb. I put on the RC tail gate support and that helped, but still had the tic. I added weather stripping and grease and that helped and now itās back unfortunately. I even added new wheels that are 10 pounds lighter.
Are dealers just swapping the tail gates?
Cop here! Let me preface this with I do the swat K9 stuff and havenāt dabbled in traffic for awhile but this is not reasonable suspicion for anything. What state are you in?
I didnāt throw accutune under the bus. Iām not saying they did anything wrong. I came here to trouble shoot the issue. I have no clue what is wrong with my car. Iāve received a lot of dmās and people asking for updates.
accutune called me and requested I remove or edit the post. I wonāt share...
Final updateā¦
accutune called me and requested I modify or remove this post. I wonāt get into more details. Iām going to leave it as is since I feel a lot of the recommendations given by the members were very informative, and may be able to help someone down the road if they have the same...
im in the process of buying the ford performance tune, since my sport mode is now essentially useless (see my other thread on that drama lol), so Iāll have the that covered.
The plan after that was to address the steering rack but when I priced it all out the 3.0 rack wasnāt that much more all...
Questionā¦why would one buy tie rod braces and new bushing from Bronc busters for roughly 800$ when an all new 3.0 steering rack from ford can be purchased for 950$?
Am I missing something? New to the party.
No update. Accutune was no real help. The shop that installed the parts also no real help. I called King in Garden Grove, and they said their bronco kit shouldnāt have needed all the parts accutune put in when they ācustom tunedā them.
Iāve just been keeping it out of sport mode and living...
Great advice. Thank you. Iām definitely not driving down to San Diego again for this. I truly wish I never got the ācustomā kings but going to do my best to fix this. I looked up half shafts, they are 495$ or is that for a pair? Is there better aftermarket ones?
Yeah I saw their prices š¬ looks like a legit shop and 15 mins from me Iām going to call them Monday and hopefully they can be more helpful than accutune.
