Very interesting thread. I just posted a similar issue but havenāt gone through the lengths you have to get a successful result. Could I ask you to take a look at My Squeaking Roof thread and determine if itās similar to your previous rattle? I donāt know how far I could go down the rabbit hole...
Hey folks. I own a 2022 Bad Sas, and do light overlanding, mostly camping. We have an RTT sat on a Trailrax roof rack. We also bought their RTT lifter mounts and applied rubber mats between them; the roof is solid. We are experiencing an inside squeak at the rear passenger side pinch point on...
I would like to use a roll of the same weather strip they provided with the car. Has anyone used this as a solution successfully? If so, do you know the name of this product as google lens and other searches come up with everything else, but this. A link to the Amazonians would be awesome! Thank...
I reduced the height and rewired the antenna. Too high but it is just at roof height using the Hammer Built mount. It shouldnāt be at risk while driving at speed but may compromise its reception.
Yes, Iāve seen videos of the breaking antennae so Iām of the opinion that this mount on the Hammer Built will protect the rod so as not to flex too much during highway driving. Our intent will be to camp and not overland too much. Iāll test it out but I know if I shorten it, it will not extend...
So I used both extension arms for the antenna so itās well above the roof and an inch below the garage door. Too high?
Iāll be placing a Gazelle overland tent thatās 10x12ā in cross section plus a 6ā diameter water cylinder tank that will go up there as well as a strapped front runner bag. So...
This is great, thank you! ā¦and totally understand the disclaimer. Your description is pretty much how I will wire mine up, bar the B2 will be used, as B1 is already taken. I could also use the in line fuse that was provided as a secondary trip. The remaining components of wires will be put aside...
Hey there, great breakdown of the WeBoost and wiring guidance. Thank you so much!! So, I have a couple of questions please as Iām not seeing anything else online specific to this and youāre the only person Iāve read on the whole www that has hardwired the WeBoost into a Bronco.
Okay short...
Hey folks.
Just an update and some instructions for other folks wanting to do this. Today, I decided to temporarily fit the 23Zero 270 Peregrine Awning using the TrailRax mini mounting brackets to the TMRR.
First, I repositioned one of the grab handles to the opposite side of the Bronco then...
Well here it is, worked on it today with my son and super happy with the result. Just need to finish up the electrics for the Heretic light bar; thatāll be next weekend. I went with the RotoPax water and gas plus the shovel/axe mount on each of the PacRax. I also bought the roof handles as well...
Well folks, itās been a year in the waiting for a roof rail system but @TrailRax was the preferred option where my order has now arrived! Awesome service by Heston and team throughout.
So for my Canadian friends, take the US fee, x 1.3 conversion, then x HST/GST + PST and two $150 brokerage...
Anybody know if there is an under the hood mount for just the single ARB air compressor CKMA12? I can just about stomach the CA$500 price tag for the compressor alone, and not the twin at twice the price⦠it would be great to know if thereās a simple bracket solution like the Grimm, but for...
An update: gave up waiting and pulled the pin and going direct with the TrailRax TMRR with all the trimmings that include the Pakrax, Rotopax gas and water, Heretic lightbar plus the axe and shovel carrier. Heston at TrailRax was awesome and extremely helpful throughout the international...
Hey folks. Iām about to press the go button on some goodies for our BadSas 22 4D with hard top. The focus will be camping across Canada and the US, starting with our 4,400km round trip drive to Moab for our Off Roadeo in May. We are just beginners to the overland scene and sad to say, the...
Hey Bronco6g, me again.
Anyone have any experience with this roof rack, general level of quality, and do you see what looks like resting seat brackets along the length of the rail? Do these brackets sit on the hard top? Cheaper than what I have seen but open to alternatives; such as Badass...
