30+ years, 12 cars, 2 different states, I'm Team Discount Tire / America's Tire all day every day. Knowledgeable, experienced, easy to work with and their Replacement Certificates practices are the best!
I am also a since inception Costco member. Love them and their business model but every...
Totally concur. With the exception of COVID pandemic car pricing craziness, in 50+ years of buying and selling new and used cars, I have NEVER had any dealer offer or suggest anything close to KBB "Trade-In" values. Especially if they know the trade is going right to auction. Concur that most...
Same experience here. And over 50 years of car buying and selling experience. Have heard dealers chuckle too many times when KBB brought up as a reference, especially when common practice is to send the trade to auction right away (and never hit the dealer's used car lot).
Fact is the entire...
Mostly the safety focused (and some other) electronics (camera in RV mirror being one item) that use the windshield for sensing. IMO, "recalibration fees" charged by window people are greatly price inflated for the level of effort,
But, unless you know what is needed and/or have the right...
Replacement #1 was not through insurance, used local high rated provider, OEM replacement - no problems (rain, wind, dust etc.). Minimal recalibration needed. No complaints.
Replacement #2 will be happening in the next day or 2. 1 week ago, picked up good size "star" rock chip on freeway...
Installing new OEM windshield #2 as we speak.
Replacement #1 after 1 year of ownership, Replacement #2, 8 months later.

Thanks @MadMan4BamaNATL for the info. I have been scouring YouTubes and other sources for more detail. I forgot to mention that I also have the TSB for the cargo door rattle but my rig build date is 2 months past this cutoff date - but that will not deter me for pushing for this IF it proves to...
Looking for updated Forum feedback on 2 nagging issues I have started to encounter pretty recently (Purchased Bronco BL Oct 2022; 16,600 logged miles to date; light to moderate off-roading activities; daily driver; the 2 specific issues noted below started within a month of each other AND both...
So . . . these are projections for 2024 models with what I would have to believe reflects a small cohort of resale vehicles during what would have to be in the first use year - not 5 years. Even my 2022 Badlands Sas really only has about 2+ years of resale activity and based on online listings...
Can we amend this petition to add :
1. "Loose nuts and bolts in a metal coffee can rattle" in rear cargo door.
2. "Excessive floppy and rattling" driver side window and front passenger side window (floppy and rattling even after 3 bottom of door alignment bolt adjustment attempts).
These are...
I can best describe my 22 Badlands/Sas tailgate sound as "an old metal coffee can half full of loose nuts and bolts rattling around in the can like crazy throughout my drive - no matter what quality of road I am on".
2-DOOR TONNEAU COVER (sturdy sun/UV treated material).
2-DOOR SOFT TOP that (somehow) folds ALL the way back and not stacked on top.
METAL headlight / rear taillights "quick release" cage style protection
We own 2 Porsches (2022 GT4 and 2021 GTS Boxster 4.0) and have been repeatedly told that "these cars have been designed to be driven, hard; to test them, to push them". So we have and we do! Any wear or repair issues have always been covered under warranty - with virtually no questions asked...
