At night, my ring stays lit, but not during the day. I look like one of those Volvos or European cars that switch off the DRL when the blinker is on. That's interesting if yours behaves differently since you also swapped out. I have a 2022. I'll keep playing with the settings. Thanks.
I recently upgraded by base headlights to OEM signatures. All works well and I'm very happy with the upgrade. The only minor thing I would like to change is to have the DRL halo stay on when the blinker is activated.
I see a number of vehicles where the DRL turns off when the blinker is on...
I don't remember any Forscan setting like the one you describe, and I looked around pretty good. But I am no Forscan expert, so it's possible that I'm just missing it.
I waited and waited for someone smarter than me to offer some type of connector that would bridge the divide, but it never...
Thanks for sharing that information. Yes, I had just recently read about PWM, and it makes sense now with the flickering. I looked online for PWM adapters, but could not find any specific to what we need. Most were for headlights.
I looked again the other night with the Bronco running, and the...
For the record, I did notice a slight flicker with the running lights on today. More noticeable up close. When you walk back 8-10 feet, not so much. No flicker with the brake light.
No, I made the Forscan changes before installation. Figured that I would avoid any potential problems this way.
I initially got Forscan to change the tire size, but it sure has come in handy with the tail lights and turning off various annoying factory settings. It's surprisingly easy to use...
So far, so good. I half expected there to be a problem by now, but working perfectly the past few weeks. Just curious - did you make the two Forscan changes?
Yeah, it has been interesting to read everyone's take on it as they try to put a feeling into words. I would say that it feels slightly stiffer, which I noticed more as the pedal neared the floor. Overall, it feels more consistent through the entire range of motion.
Hey, I had been debating an upgrade for months, and thanks to your post, decided to give it a shot. I purchased a set of OEM LED tail lights and installed them on my base model a few days ago. I have no flicker and did not use any resistors.
The only thing I did was to make two Forscan changes...
One week review. I like it. I had the oem one for a year, so it takes a day or so to get used to, but glad I made the swap. The main difference to me is that it feels more precise on the engagement and most of that mushiness at the top of the stroke is gone.
Pretty easy install once you get...
My 2.3l manual makes all sort of noises, especially upon startup. There's the buzzing, then the hissing, and an occasional rattle. I thought more about it initially, but I decided to just drive and enjoy it. The performance leaves nothing to be desired. The only thing it does that concerns me is...
I've been meaning to provide an update today. I got my Bronco back yesterday from the dealership. It ended up being a bad wastegate on the turbocharger (stuck in the closed position). They ended up ordering a new turbocharger and it took them 3-4 days to install (11 days total). They had to...
Hello all. First time poster. I've been reading these boards for well over a year and have learned a lot. I appreciate all of the folks that contribute views and advice.
So after a long wait, I signed the paperwork last week on my 2.3L manual base (with upgraded wheels from a Big Bend). I was...
