If anyone experienced this: itās the EBS braking system and needs to be replaced. $2800 here in So Cal. Thankfully I was just under my factory warranty and they covered it. Took them having the bronco for a week to figure it out and multiple trips before this. Good luck everyone.
Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this? My 2022 outer banks SAS started making this sound a couple months ago. Taken it to the dealer several times and even though theyāve heard it in person, they say they canāt replicate it. They have no idea what the issue is. They replaced the brake pedal...
In all my 35 years of driving, Iāve rarely had to go the dealer for anything. It wasnāt even on my mind that they would hassle me over this. This vehicle is nearly 3 years old and I have barely 18,000 miles on it. Never considered theyād disregard the issue and default to the aftermarket excuse...
Itās definitely warranty covered. And he said both things. That they donāt do tailgate realignment, and that the issue was created by me putting that flag mount on. The shop they referred me to does bodywork repairs for them. So I imagine that because itās under warranty and if I wouldnāt have...
they already have it on the file. Itās straight up written on the work order that they provided and Iām sure that that is shared universally at all dealers.
Oh wow, I didnāt even know those exist. I havenāt shopped for an accessory in probably a year. Never even considered something like that. Can you link what youāre talking about?
The dealer did push it back in place but itās still sagging by about an inch. So itās probably only a matter of time...
Quick update if this happens to anybody else and for context. I have a 2022 Outer Banks Sasquatch. I didnāt think anything of it at first, but it makes sense now: while ago I had parked on an incline, and when I opened the tailgate, it misaligned and it took for me to forcefully pull up from...
I searched the forms through keywords, but couldnāt find anything related. Suddenly, my tailgate wonāt unlock. All four other doors unlock either manually pressing the unlock button on the key or by walking up to it, they all unlock, but all of a sudden my tailgate wonāt unlock. I have an 2022...
This is the future of all vehicles. Over the air updates are a lot more amenable than having to go to the dealer for otherwise minor issues. I have a Tesla as well and get an update every few weeks or so.These are basically computers running the vehicle now.
I agree on the almost too bright. Would have preferred if they just matched stock brightness. But whatever. Itās a huge improvement and much needed. And same on AUX 6 hook up.
Lol. Well, if dude has nothing relevant to say, just move on. I was trying to be helpful. Guaranteed heās the type of guy who wakes up and before rolling out of bed, heās logged on, involved in a twitter argumentā¦.
Plug and play lol. Yeah ok š¤”. Only requires the removal of panels, running wire through and based on reviews online, a bitch to install under the dash. Not to mention the 3 hour install time. Iām sorry youāre upset I have the financial capability to buy it and pay someone else to do the work for...
Such a big difference. Very satisfied. Not handy so I paid a local place to install them to trigger when the doors are opened, unlocked or through AUX 6. Parts and labor ran me less than $500. Much needed upgrade to the bronco and I highly recommend them.
So I bought a rear storage pocket a while back. Never installed it though. Just kept putting it offā¦..
Recently the cargo netting on the driver side rear passenger door came undone. Iāve only had the bronco a few months. So I asked the dealer if they could replace it under warranty and they...
Any info on the rear ones? I noticed the instructions for the rear medium pockets say to āremove screws and add the pocket and screw inā. My 4DR outer banks rear doesnāt have screws. Itās all panel and would require drilling. Have you done this?
