Love your build man! I plan on doing this with a 2dr badlands to make it a baja and overland machine. I wonder if there 8in flares will have the option for carbon fiber for the extra 3in they add on to the 5in flares?
This is pretty close to the build that I will eventually do on a 2 dr! Only differences is I’ll use the 8 inch flares once they come out and I’ll have some lighting among other things as well. Awesome build so far! Keep up the great work!
Im sorry to say it but that red V6 Escape you pulled up behind will beat the bronco. I have a 2011 V6 escape and put it up against my buddies 2.7 '21 wildtrak and it beat him every time.
When you are pulling a trailer you can disable the rear parking sensors by pressing the button next to your camera button on the center dash. It looks like a P with radar lines hitting a cone.
What is so special about this bronco over the stock SAS? I get that it’s a limited run of 25, but other than graphics and a few bits and bobs here and there it is overall a stock SAS. This being said, it does look good, just would have liked more upgrades that mattered when on the trail or in Baja.
I would definitely recommend Hidden Falls Adventure Park. I've been there a couple of times and not only are the staff amazing, but the other customers there are as well! If you are willing to drive a ways, Merus Adventure park just outside of Amarillo is another place I would recommend. They...
I would definitely recommend getting a lightweight trailer that you can mount a tent on. If you combined that with a rooftop tent, you would have enough space for all 4 of y'all. Plus, by having a trailer, you can disconnect from it if you are camping at one spot for more than one night and go...
That's really nice of you! Unfortunately, I do not currently own a Bronco and don't have the funds to purchase the light bar. It is definitely on my to purchase list though!
If there was an option to make the holes uniform across all the light bars with the roof rack, then maybe either y'all or someone else could fab up a part that, while similar to the caps that come with the bronco, cover up the rack mounting bolts and fills in the light bar holes.
For those who have the roof rack would yall be able to make a part that clips in the holes on the lightbar for when the rack is off? I know it probably wouldn't matter, but I think it would clean up the look and maybe reduce wind noise.
