You can take both the First Edition and Badlands off the reservation list for me, pulled the plug last night (have had both reserved since launch night).
I need something with at least 5k tow rating. and as much as I like the Bronco I don’t want to be limited by towing. I still find it...
Got over my reserved FE when it was confirmed the tow rating was the same across all models, trims with either 2.3 EB or 2.7 V6 EB at 3500 lbs. and the tow package was a bigger ball with 7 pin connector.
Don’t worry some of us are.
It’s just disappointing a vehicles with so many difference variations In trims, suspension and engine choices has a standard 3500 lb tow rating all across the board.
Kind of stupid if you ask me.
Bye bye FE and Badlands reservation.
Going to have to let the FE reservation go along with badlands. I was hoping the tow package actually added towing ability, like any other vehicle that has a aftermarket tow package.
I need at least A 5k lb. tow rating with the 2.7 V6 EB. i mean the F150...

Sticking with the FE if I get one as it has everything I want. Don’t like the limited color choices exterior and being locked into Navy Pier interior. But I think it will look good enough with Cactus grey Or Carbonzied Grey.
Ha I got a FE reserved to. Waiting till things get closer to orders to see wtf is going on in terms of delivery time, etc., not projections of everything.
Actually I don’t think it would be that hard to make money on selling a FE for someone who wanted one of 7k and didn’t get It. Whether you sold it or turned the reservation over it would still be going to someone who wanted it?
Make sure to use a good cleaner (like Seafoam) every oil change and you should be good. If you tackle the carbon build up problem late it’s usually to late.
Its’s easier to stay on top of it and prevent it then trying to tackle after it’s built up.
Except the 3.7 Cyclone in the Mustang Rwd is different then in the fwd/transverse drivetrain cars.
For one the 3.7 Cyclone in the rwd mustang uses and external water pump, different intake manifolds design along with some other differences. Super dependable motor even when modded.
Think of the...
The Ford Cyclone 3.7 V6 RWD Is a superb motor, very reliable, probably best V6 Ford ever made NA. Cafe standards killed it, but it would not be suitable in a Bronco either, like the 5.0 Coyote it make it’s power and torque later in the power band. This is why Ecoboost is a great engine with...
The tow rating is generalized across all the models. No way your going to convince me the 2.7 EB with tow package isn’t going to tow more then the 2.3 EB with Tow package. Especially since some models have better suspension then others. I would not be surprised to see 2.3 EB with tow package at...
