@JimboSlice I will have to check out Hawkins Peak! Good call on the mud flaps, not sure I'm there just yet. We will be in Donner Lake this weekend. Do you know of any trails/dirt roads in the Truckee or Donner area for a day trip?

I'm in Rocklin and my husband and I would love to meet up! I am in the same boat....novice and don't want to jack up my Bronco but absolutely want to get it off the payment for some exploring. I did the Vegas Off Rodeo in May and it was awesome.
