  1. NXTGEN Aerogrips (Maybe For Roofracks?!)

None on the Bronco. Our son has our previous explorer and that has Thule Aero blades. I still do the work on the Explorer so I still use the forums where I saw these strips. I've always had the bars with those types of grips. I'm curious if anyone has used anything like that on a rack. This...

It's Amazon not a Russian underground network...
  3. NXTGEN Aerogrips (Maybe For Roofracks?!)

I still drop in on my old Explorer forum and some people were raving about these to stop the annoying high-pitched whistle noises from crossbars. I have been going back and fourth on roof rack options and I'm kicking around the idea of getting a few packs of these to place on the crossbar...
  4. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

No that's correct! The bigger part shows the blind spot really well more inwards, and the outer portion shows the other lanes and curbs, but doesn't take up as much of the rest of the mirror. I set my drivers mirror outward so you don't see the bronco in the big one but you do in the little...
  5. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

The BMW ones are genuine BMW European market mirrors. They are all like that there but technically not legal here I think. Here is the drivers side alone 🤣 https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-european-bmw-parts/european-blind-spot-mirror-left/51167285005~geb/
  6. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

🤣 👍 I looked at the aspherical mirrors for my 4 series. (heated, dimming and auto-dip in reverse) $700 for a set, glass only, and that was a hard pass vs the $24, I feeeeeeeeellllll you lol
  7. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

Personal preference I guess. I took my time and got mine to fit much better than Moto26 if you see my initial post. But most importantly is the function even over form. Most stick on mirrors are much cheaper, but so is the quality. If you want actual useful clarity like they came from Ford...
  8. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

I agree with your statement about people being too close, but that is beyond control and people do it all of the time. They drive right along your blindspot. See post 4 on my BMW with same brand mirrors. I have my 4 series mirrors pushed out about as far as they go. You don't see any of my...
  9. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

🤣🤣 🤔😂 Because a cop said it? I know how to set my mirrors bud... There is a reason why pretty much every commercial vehicle has spot mirrors. There is more to it than just seeing right along you ( a dead spot will always exist)... Come try your 'special method' on my 2500 ram with a 25 foot...
  10. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

The interesting thing about it is that your example is actually more curved in any particular spot from an 'angle' standpoint, meaning it has a steeper curvature. This makes things look a lot further away. The reason why the ones you have are really nice is because they have a lot more places...
  11. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

Not without significant fisheye effect. Those are also very rounded edges as I explained and would not counter our mirrors. Again, convex requires rounded or pointed edges. The planes of curvature on your example is 50-60 percent less than the ones we are discussing and that is a big difference.
  12. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

It's more about being able to see well around the Bronco on and off road. The lights work great at night, but I use the spot mirrors much more than the lights. When the light comes on, most times there is enough room to move over if there was an emergency. Having both is a nice setup. At these...
  13. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

Nice review! I was able to get mine to fit tighter in the corners and sit a bit flatter, but it could be manufacturing differences in the lips around our bronco mirrors. The shape is actually a very efficient design. I'm a mechanical engineer so this is my wheelhouse. You actually can't make...
  14. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

Looks like this was moved to a new area from the general topic. I was wondering where it went :p
  15. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

For sure when I get it back from the dealership! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Here is the BMW ones for reference. I set my mirrors pretty far out and these cover from the rear 1/3 of the vehicle 2-3 lanes out. The view is similar on both but the Bronco going on the bottom gives a really nice view of the rear tire...
  16. Custom Bronco stick on blindspot mirrors for BLIS

Hi All, had my boy Blue here for a few months and wanted to review my first mod. So far I have left my ‘21 Antimatter blue OBX pretty stock for warranty concerns as I work through a few bugs, not unexpected with first model year vehicles. One thing I have always liked is having blindspot...
