  1. Non refundable restocking fee?

Did use CC, the agreement was a hand written statement ā€˜nonrefundable restocking fee 500’ scribbled next to the down payment box on the sheet which also had 500 towards the purchase of the truck. I simply put my initials next to the agreement, no other stipulations.
  2. Non refundable restocking fee?

First time for everything right? Never been to a dealer for purchasing a car before, all have been used with cash. Lesson learned at the end of the day, but if I’m polite it might go my way.
  3. Non refundable restocking fee?

Apologies but I realized when writing this last night I didn’t clarify that the fee does go towards the purchase price of the car, I’m more confused why they worded the ā€˜deposit’ as such. When talking with the salesmen he didn’t say anything about a fee or the fact it was for restocking only...
  4. Non refundable restocking fee?

It’s essentially a sales sheet with the 3 options I have, the total price of the vehicle, and a place where I sign that states the vehicle will be sold for the price listed. The ā€˜fee’ was hand written on the side with a little spot for me to add my initials on, no stipulations or other conditions.

Meaning its a ordering restraint? That's what I thought with some of the building guides I've seen around this forum. Oh well, gotta wait anyways!
  8. Portland Area Dealer Discussions

That's good to hear! As long as other people have had good experiences with them thats all that matters.

If this is the case, would it hurt to email someone at Damerow for a rough approximation for a build vs Landmark?
  10. Portland Area Dealer Discussions

So the best plan of action would just to talk to my salesman this week to make sure theres no dealer mark ups and to work from there? Wasn't sure if the overall 'dealer experience' is something to look out for either, whether that be communication or the whole ordering process as a whole.

Hey everyone, new here. I currently have a reservation with Landmark Ford, and am scheduled to go in this week for what I assume is the ordering process. Very basic build, Base 2dr 7sp with the modular bumper and a couple otherthings. Now question time, should I stick with Landmark or switch...
